Noble M500 makes smashing debut with its analog charm and turbo V6 engine

Low Volume British car Mulle gives autocar the first exclusive display to the latest M500 supercar. The concept is a follow-up for the M600 which was launched in 2009, but the noble designing the latest M500 became less strong but more can be achieved than the first.

His Majesty first presents the M500 concept in 2018 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and a few have changed since then. Like the M600 which lasts long, the M500 has a tubular steel chassis, two chairs, and the layout of the midship engine. But it’s not like the M600 with a Volvo Twin-Turbo engine, the M500 has an ECOBOOST V6 ECOBOOST 3.5 liter twin-turbocharged factory.

It sounds familiar? That’s because the V6 M500 is the same machine as Ford GT. It produces 506 horsepower and 594 pounds of torque in stock form. However, Autocar said Noble brought the M500 into production with more than 550 horsepower, enough to provide the Porsche 911 Turbo S and Chevy Corvette C8 running for money.

Meanwhile, the only transmission option is Graziano six speed manual, while hydraulic power steering is also standard. We are not sure why Noble confirms to adjust it with non-ABS brakes (and zero airbags) such as the M600, but the four-wheeled double-wishbone suspension can redeem it with a more intelligent journey and sharper handling.

Size-wise, the new M500 is a little wider than the M600 (although both vehicles have the same length), but noble redesigning the cabin to offer a slightly more shake room. Furthermore, the M500 inherits 70 percent of the chassis and suspension bits of old cars, including flat children.

The M500 must have less weight than competition with smaller machines, providing excellence in the handling and acceleration department. Noble claims the Prototype Tips Scales at 1400kg (3086 lbs.), But the production version must be closer to 1.250kg (2,756 lbs.). To reduce production costs, the M500 has a glass composite body reinforced. However, Mulia will offer many improvements in the exterior of carbon-fibers or body panels all carbon if the customer wants it.

Noble M500 has a fairly simple interior with two recaro podium chairs, down-bottom steering, and minimalist dashboards. Then again, it does have a modern touch like a digital instrument cluster and a large infotainment screen in the middle.

Mulia aims to build 50 M500 units per year in its factory in Leicester, and it is said that the first customer shipments must arrive this year. Prices remain without notice, but Noble said the price tag is £ 150,000 (around $ 205,800) not far away. Note: All photos of the vehicle in this article were captured by Noble Automotive Limited.
